“The Magical Yet” teaches a valuable lesson about a growth mindset and perseverance. I love how the story explains that you may not master something overnight and that you may make mistakes along the way. I also love how the characters are diverse! I am sure that many kids can relate to some of the characters in the book. “The Magical Yet” was also fun to read because it had a lot of rhyming words. I would definitely recommend reading this book to kids!

I VERY much enjoyed this story about perseverance. I read it to an afterschool class of Kindergarteners. We follow a social emotional curriculum and this paired with that nicely. The kids enjoyed the book, they picked up on the rhyme, and listened to the whole story. I loved it. They loved it. Good one!
