I am sure that many kids can relate to some of the characters in the book. “The Magical Yet” was also fun to read because it had a lot of rhyming words.     I VERY much enjoyed this story about perseverance. I read it to an afterschool class of Kindergarteners. We follow a social emotional curriculum and this paired with that nicely. The kids enjoyed the book, they picked up on the rhyme, and listened to the whole story. I loved it. They loved it. Good one!

I will add that I think the language is geared toward older kids as it’s whimsical and rhyming but a lot of the wording went over my toddlers head.
